Primary Course Vacancies for 2019-20 Cohort
Updated December 2018
You can browse all our courses on the new DfE search tool 'Find postgraduate teacher training', and UCAS is now open for applications.
Our course vacancy list is divided into salaried and unsalaried courses. Full programme information is available by pressing the green buttons within the list.
The vacancies are listed alphabetically by school. We offer general 'Primary' and also 'Primary with Maths' which trains someone as a general primary teacher but with a greater focus on maths so that they could lead on maths in a school.
In any primary programme you must gain experience across two Key Stages. Some of our programmes focus on KS1/KS2 and others on FS/KS1. In both cases this does not restrict the primary age that you can teach, once you are qualified at the end of the course as a primary teacher.
Salaried Vacancies +
WLTSA pays the tuition fees, trainee recieves a salary. While school experience is no longer a DfE requirement, it would clearly enhance any application for a salaried place.
Unsalaried Vacancies (Group A) +
Trainee pays tuition fees but bursaries from the schools are available to successful applicants on these courses. We also await the announcement of additional DfE bursaries which may be available. Student Loans are also available for those eligible.
Unsalaried Vacancies (Group B) +
Trainee pays tuition fees, DfE bursaries available.
